Time to buy that VV-50?

I'm trying not to smile typing this but I'm certain I'm not the only person here watching Craig Feek's attempt to sell the VV-50 he bought from Ebay a few months ago for £200. Initially he re-listed it at £300 cheekily reusing the previous owners photos to re-sell it straight on. That plan failed epicly as the price has gradually been lowered but not before I offered £225 and was promptly turned down flat without any attempt to negotiate or counter offer.

It's now being offered for sale for just £110, a cool £115 less than I offered him a while ago. Is anyone going to put him out of his misery? No, Poodling around, it's not going to be me this time. I wanted it for £225, not a measly £110 and besides I'm enjoying this too much to spoil the fun now!

On a serious note, it's got to be worth £100 of anyone's money, surely?

He would probably have sold it by now, if only he offered postage instead of expecting the buyer to arrange a courier.
I, a private seller, have posted Columbia 113 and 113a portables. Surely a dealer should be capable of posting a VV-50.

Maybe he will take this advice. He must read this forum as he's started putting a blanket under machines he insists on photographing on the brick wall!

When I see an item for sale, re-using photos and/or description from a previous auction, my "SCAM" flag goes up. That's a bad move on his part.

Yes, I agree in general that flags are normally raised in these circumstances but to be fair to Craig (why should I be when he's not to me? ) I really don't think anyone suspects foul play this time around. I have no doubt he is the owner of the machine and will continue to be for a very long time.
