Schoolhouse elbow
Seeing the recent request about a Victor Schoolhouse elbow, I measured the opening on the tonearm bracket on mine---it is only 1 ½". I believe the one I have is an earlier version? I am also missing the horn elbow and horn. Wondering how many others have the dimensions of either model?

Re: Schoolhouse elbow
Hey Herb- A little info from deep in my brain
I believe it to be all correct.
The earliest SchoolHouse machines used the smaller elbow and standard oak spearpoint horn as would be found on a Victor V. The later machines used the larger elbow with the smooth horn.
A few years ago, I sold a nice spearpoint horn that I had removed from my Vic V (replaced with a nice black/brass) to a forum member to use on his early SchoolHouse machine- He said it matched nearly perfectly!
Hope all is well- It was good to see you at the Wayne show
