CL - McLagan Amputee/Heart Transplant -- Vancouver

Post by Lah Ca »

The price on this has dropped to $200 CDN.

If the Flecther reproducer and tone arm (with its tracking force adjustment mechanism) are all intact and not self-disintegrating, the machine might almost be worth the $200 to someone with an intact machine with a damaged arm.

The tallboy cabinet has been chopped down, a demerit point.

But on the positive side, it seems be one of those ultra rare dual crank systems, eh, but missing the second crank, another demerit point. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Either that or the motor is not original.

The guy who did this must have seen the cut off Victrola XVI at the Salesroom in the U.K., mentioned in a previous thread...

"No one needs a Victrola XX, a Perfected Graphophone Type G, or whatever you call those noisy things."
