Excellent detailed demonstration Shawn! Your explanations regarding the manufacturing and distribution history of the Multiphones is especially appreciated.

I saw a Multiphone when I visited Fort Meyers several years ago, but it was the two minute version with the lyre shaped cabinet. It was nice to see the four minute version!edisonplayer.

Well, Ken, hopefully I said rectilinear - meaning characterized by straight lines. I do get pronunciations mixed up sometimes, so, who knows!!!

I enjoyed your presentation very much, Shawn. I am amazed that the robust mechanism can be spring-powered, even with a Triton motor!

Hi Shawn, Thank you for posting the video, I don't believe I have ever seen that particular model of Multiphone, do you have any idea how many are known to have survived? Thanks Larry
