During WWI Thomas Edison served on the naval consulting board developing many inventions for the war effort. Edison also helped give back to his country by using the Edison Phonograph Works to manufacture devices for the war effort, and this bomb site for an early fighter plane is one of those surviving artifacts.
This example is from the Charley Hummel collection and is in outstanding all original condition and complete. Very few of these have come to the market, and likely one of the only products from the Edison Phono Works that is not a phonograph to be found.
Asking price is $750. Right now shipping is not being offered due to the large number of items we are handling but this can be delivered at the Wayne, NJ show in October or other transportation arrangements worked out.

How and where is Charley's collection being sold?
I would love to get his Montana Phonograph metal sign! And of course a bunch of other items.

The only problem is that the WWI groups/re-enactors would need a bi-plane and some bombs to test it out...
