Mobley diaphragm

Post by fmblizz »

I have a nice front mount reproducer for a Harmony/Busy Bee/Aretino. I notice that the pinkish diaphragm appears to be
marked "MOBLEY diaphragm" with a patent date of May 8 1900 from what I can tell.

Did Mobley make just diaphragm's for different companies or did they make the entire reproducer??

Is the diaphragm metal or is it some sort of composite material, like a Cheney?
