Frankenphone Baby phonograph

I decided to put this under Machines and not the forum for auctions, eBay, etc.

This is now being bidded on; the on-line auction ends tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what it sells for. On one hand I could see it going high if one needed parts. But on the other I could see it also go high because someone is not aware this is a Frankenphone and thinks it's an unusual machine. It's now at $110.

This was actually sold a few weeks ago at a local, live auction with the original tonearm and reproducer but detached or broken off. It sold for much less than what it currently stands at.

Yikes, a record destroyer. The tracking must set a new level of bad.

I love the soldering which attaches the gooseneck to the improvised piece of plumbing.

What is wrong with that thing’s tracking? It does look bad but is it really gonna kill a record?
