I am thinning my collection and think ebay is not ideal. I have at least one of almost every Victor external horn phonograph, plus several off brand ones like a Yankee machine, aretino machines, and busy bees. Please send inquiries so I can triage which machines to prepare for shipping. I might also sell some larger parts at my discretion. Thanks for the interest!

I have, in all my years, never actually owned an external horn Victor. I guess I keep expecting maybe I'll find one in the wild but I'm slowly coming to the realization that most of them live in collector's collections on shelves on display. I really would like to find just one that I can put in a corner and play, maybe one to work on a little bit as I'm mostly inspired by machines that need a little love. Now if my wife hadn't just spent $3,800 on our 14 year old cat, I might have been in the market

For me, the thrill of the hunt and getting a bargain is most of the fun! With all due respect to everybody, I would rather find one at some obscure estate sale or garage sale. But, I agree - it is getting very tough these days! It seems like even estate sales and yard sales are getting advertised online and a "collector" will swoop in within minutes....
