1. What is the length of a Puck main spring. The original main spring measures less than ½" wide and all of my early phonograph parts supply books (Honest Quaker, Valley Forge, etc.) feature ½" main springs and wider! (see picture) The Puck I have here was missing some of its main spring as it broke in several places so if I go to a clock maker for a new spring (since no one today seems to sell Puck size main springs) I need to know the length of the spring so he can make one.
2. Edison suitcase Standard crank. I have plenty of the slotted 'S' shape cranks but I want one of the straight black slotted suitcase Standard cranks. (see picture)
3. Puck reproducer (ha ha...I know. Good luck with that! But thought I'd ask anyway.)
Thanks, in advance, for any help!
Doug

Re: Wanted: A few items
Thank you so very much, Dan! What's interesting with my Puck phonograph is that the old main spring that was broken in several pieces measures less than ½". Yet it appears there is room in the main spring chamber on my Puck to accommodate a ½" main spring. It might be a bit tight though. Anyway, thanks again. I'll give the company mentioned a try.DanP58 wrote: Sat Sep 30, 2023 8:24 am Good morning another member gave me this company for the spring
