SOLD : Combination Lamp for your Phonograph Room - $245.00

Post by Shawn »

Folks,

I have decided to sell another of my combination (portable) lamps. These lamps are perfect for your phonograph room. As shown in the 1903 Fairies catalog page below, these lamps are made to set on a table, or be hung on the wall. 1903 was a time when, if you had electricity, you probably only had one place to plug in, in any room. The shade was an option, but must have been rarely purchased.

This lamp is 100% original. The only exceptions are the new UL listed period looking twisted wire and acorn plug. It has been cleaned, but retains the original patina. It is without cracks or other damage, sometimes found on early brass lamps. It works wonderfully. Included is a tipped reproduction lightbulb to complete the look for your room.

The first two pictures are the lamp being sold. The last picture is of a personal one that I have display near a phonograph. They look absolutely wonderful and add an ambiance that is highly appealing.

I used to find these lamps all the time. Now, I rarely find them and when I do, they are damaged or have replaced parts. This one is exceptional and without damage.

The price is $245.00 complete with the bulb. Shipping is additional. SOLD

Contact me at [email protected] with interest.

Thank you

Shawn

If you hadn't posted this I probably would have walked RIGHT past this today while thrifting in a neighboring town. Thanks so much!
I can't wait to get to work on cleaning this up and getting it going. It's not going to be hard to find a better shade than what's currently on it ;)

And for $15, can't beat it.
