I had some time to do some cleaning on the Columbia BG. The case and upper works came out great. Next is to do the motor. I might need to extract the little spring on the half nut as is seems weak after cleaning it all. The mandrel spins nice and smooth.

Ken,
That's a wonderful machine and the 2-4 minute is rather rare.
Congratulations on a great find.

We were lucky to find a BGT with 2-4 a few years ago and we love it.

It looks like you got quite a few cylinders too, many times these cylinders get moldy, how are
your cylinders?

All the best,

David & Lerria Rosamond

Thanks for the comments. All of the wax cylinders including the 20th Century ones are junk. :x :x :x :x The cases are great though. Is there anyone that uses moldy cylinders to melt down and cast new ones? Not sure if Shown Borri does that?

Nice find! I've always liked the BG for its simple elegance.
