Interesting Brunswick machine, seemingly in excellent condition.
$400 US
The esthetics of the finish do not appeal to me personally.
And, although, I do not know much about Ultona tone arms, I don't think the the reproducer is in the right position for playing that Victor disk, but hey ... I could be wrong.

It appears it had the dreaded "antiquing" finish done to it, so prevalent in the 70s.

The same "restorer" has added what looks like a Victor ID plate. Why?CharliePhono wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 10:00 pm It appears it had the dreaded "antiquing" finish done to it, so prevalent in the 70s.

The vendor says the finish is original, and a CL vendor wouldn't tell lies now, would they?CharliePhono wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 10:00 pm It appears it had the dreaded "antiquing" finish done to it, so prevalent in the 70s.

It does have the original finish, underneath that white/beige goop.Lah Ca wrote: ↑Wed Oct 25, 2023 10:13 amThe vendor says the finish is original, and a CL vendor wouldn't tell lies now, would they?CharliePhono wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 10:00 pm It appears it had the dreaded "antiquing" finish done to it, so prevalent in the 70s.
