All of these records were purchased from a prominent medical doctor's estate and all are in very good condition. These were the earliest (introduced 1931) attempt by Victor to produce Long Play 33 1/3rpm records. As we know the venture was a flop as the timing was bad (Great Depression) so very few people could afford the phonographs to play the records making the records quite scarce especially in decent condition.

I just want to pop in here and say that these are all very scarce records in nice condition at reasonable prices. If I didn't already have nice copies of all these would be GONE. It took me a quarter century do get my collection assembled... one piece at a time, with higher prices plus shipping costs on each one. This is a GREAT opportunity if you collect the music of this era, or scarce formats, or have a 1930-33 Victor machine that plays both speeds. These are the shellac versions too, which means you do NOT need the special gold Chromium needles to play them. Tungs Tone or regular Chromium works fine. Steel needles or fiber do too... but please don't hurt me by using steel.
This is one of those times you need to Nike up and "just do it" if you are a serious collector.
Good luck with the sale, Doug. If I could sell all mine for what I paid and then buy these, I could probably almost afford the Vic 6 I want...

Thanks so much for your kind words, George. I really appreciate it. It sure would be nice to get these into the hands of those who would appreciate them. They were really remarkable records for their time.
