WANTED: Victrola V-30 Orthophonic double-spring motor

Post by Steve »

Hi

Please can someone help? I am desperately in need of a double-spring motor and winding handle (crank) for a Victrola V-30 Orthophonic 'Export' model. My motor went missing in transit and I now have a redundant machine as a result. I would like to have this machine up and running again so any help would be much appreciated.

The motor serial number was 53046. Is this a standard Victor motor from the 1929/30 period and would other Victor machines share this motor? Is anyone breaking a Victor and likely to have a spare motor available shortly?

PICTURES OF THE MISSING MOTOR ARE AVAILABLE TO HELP IDENTIFICATION IF NECESSARY!

Good price paid plus shipping!

Please contact Peter Jordan if you can help on: [email protected]

Thank you.

Brian, can I suggest for simplicity sake that you perhaps email the owner directly using the above email address quoted. He will then forward the pictures to you. I do not have an account anywhere to upload pictures to this site. Regards, Steve.
