Berliner question

Post by KCW »

I’d love to have a Berliner one day, but am not sure it’s in my price range. Didn’t Cixtor make an early machine that looked very similar to a Berliner? I recall seeing one in the past, but can’t seem to find it. Am I remembering that correctly? If so, what was the model of that Victor machine? Thank you!

The Victor R has been sometimes referred to as the "Poor Man's Berliner"

Victor B, ca. 1900. No more affordable (and perhaps less) than a Berliner Trademark, however.
