I'm very suspicious of this machines originality. No decal under the lid is a giveaway. But I have a chinese Victrola and have seen a few others and the inside of the machine is always painted orange on the original machines and chinese paintings inside. Both inside the cabinet and under the lid. Still a nice machine but I question it's originality.

Lovely machine, but the decoration was not done at the Victor factory. As noted above, the Victor modification had an orange interior and retained the decals and ID plate. Still a pretty piece.
