Wanted: Brunswick Panatrope Style Reproducer or Ultona Arm

Post by Granby »

Greetings! I have circled back to my Brunswick Phonograph project.... The upright model in question features a Panatrope style Tone Arm but research tends to suggest it had a gold plated Ultona style arm originally. So, my dilemma is this: Seek out a nice original gold plated Ultona tone arm or go ahead and snag a Panatrope style reproducer that will fit the current arm.... Of course, finances are a concern, to a degree.... :?

Referencing the pic below: There is a reproducer with the machine, but the pot metal portion (on the back where it joins the arm) is in bad shape!!! Also, I have since rebuilt the grill, installed a new cloth, and put everything back together - I need a new photo, LOL.

I know there are many fellow collectors that come across parts or are downsizing.... if anyone stumbles on to a nice gold Ultona arm or Panatrope style reproducer, shoot me a PM with the price and details. Thanks!!!
