Found a Fantastic Curved Glass Company!

Post by Shawn »

I know many of us are now struggling to find those artisans and craftsmen who did wonderful work in years past, but are now gone!! So is the case with me and a Michigan glass company that I have done business with for years. They were masters at complicated curved glass, even very thick glass with bevels. Sadly, Covid put them out of business.

Fortunately, I found another.:

Curved Glass Creations
4100 N Powerline Rd T2
Pompano Beach, FL, 33073.

They've been in business since 1946 and are still doing a great business. After a nationwide search, they are the only company I found that could reasonably make the complicated curved and beveled ¼" thick glass I needed to complete one of my phonographs.

I have no affiliation with this business other than being a super satisfied customer. I would highly recommend them if you need curved or beveled glass for one of your phonographs. They are great people to work with.

Thanks for the recommendation, Shawn.

I've needed flat ¼" beveled glass in the past, and my source (now gone) was in Canada. It sounds like these folks could do flat panels easily (and curved glass too)! Good news - - thanks again.

Thanks so much for that useful lead.

I used to have a wonderful glass company in my immediate vicinity. They could do almost anything. Unfortunately, they shut down a few years ago (pre-Covid).

Shawn,

They are 20 minutes from me yet I’ve never heard of them until you told me about them a few weeks ago. Fortunately I’ve never had a need for their services but next week I’m going to pay them a visit. One never knows.
