Victor I Horn Question

Post by Dave D »

I have a late Victor I with a slip in elbow type of back bracket. Which style of horn was used on the later machines? I always associate black/brass with the earlier machines and petal type with the later. Is that correct, or would either type of horn have been sold with this when new?
Thanks!

With a slip-in elbow, I believe the flower horn would have been standard. Here's a page spread from the 1913 Victor catalog:

Hope this helps, Dave.
