Yeah, I know... it's not Hallowe'en yet, but we'll get over it.
Bottom to top, left row:
1. Unknown Continental portable, likely Electrola (the Parlophon soundbox in my other ad fits inside), worn nickel, auto stop triggers, everything moves fine. $25
2. HMV # 32 or similar outside horn late model, takes a #4 or earlier, very nice nickel. missing the pivot stop $30
3. HMV #102, nice nickel, $35
Bottom to top, right row:
4. Early Victor support arm (larger pivot hole than a Berliner), Decent nickel showing age. $40 SOLD!
5. Super nice CONSOLETTE (VV4-3) ONLY arm. There is a hairline crack at the top pivot set screw. I set the pivot pin and used a drop of Super Glue on the INSIDE to stabilize it. No other apparent problems. Everything moves fine. The nickel finish is outstanding aside from a bit of old cello tape residue that needs removed with Goof- Off and a good polish. These only fit this one model, so if you need it- grab it! $75
6. Victrola 1-70 arm and back bracket. Note that this back bracket has ZERO pot metal issues. A good cleaning of the bracket and a polish of the nickel and this one will be NICE. Everything moves freely $75
Plus shipping. Offers considered. Thanks!

Note that no.3 is not for a 102, it's the narrow style, taking an hmv no4 soundbox. Also note that apart from size, the model of this arm for a portable 101 is the shorter one, and must have a special steep angle at the soundbox end, not needed in console/upright/tabletop machines that end straight. This is because in the 101 portable the tonearm base was mounted below the motor board, so it needs that steep angle at the end for the soundbox to stay vertical on the record.
Could these be for a Victor machine taking the no4 soundbox?

Thanks Inigo. Arm #3 came from a beyond repair HMV portable that had an angled crank or winding key. If some 101s had this than it came from a 101. I just assumed 102 due to the angled crank. Definitely a No. 4 mount, and it dues have the angle right at the soundbox end.Inigo wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:52 am Note that no.3 is not for a 102, it's the narrow style, taking an hmv no4 soundbox.
