Is this worth saving?

Post by Edisonfan »

A follower of mine, on Instagram. Suggested I glue the record, back together with crazy glue. Starting with the label and gluing near the edge.

Thoughts?

It is the record off of eBay that was broken during shipping.

Ouch, that really sucks. I would try to fix it, but not with Crazy Glue. I would rather use the Weldbond Glue method that's been described several times in detail by CurtA on this forum. It really works and you don't have much to lose. I've tried Crazy Glue before and was not happy with the results. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=8860&hilit=weldbond+glue.

Good Luck
Andreas

I decided that it wasn’t worth repairing it.

You made the right decision. This is not a super rarity and as i said in a previous post, you will find a fine copy that is not too expensive.
