i do know that they made them from around 1915 to 1930, but will the serial number help?

it kinda hard to see cus most of the paint on the metal plate fell off but the serial number says "sm 90014".

The Amberola line was gone by 1929. I am not sure when they ceased production of the units but the Edison phonograph company was dead by '29.

Is your machine a first, second, or third variation? First models have an external speed control. The second ones have not, and then the last 30s are very plain.
