L.Girod & Co. - help and general Q

Can someone advise about this manufacturer?
I found a very nice one in the Czech Republic, but never heard and have no clue abt this manufacturer.

Is that some fake/ replica ... or it really can be something vintage and authentic from the early 20th century?

I've heard of J. Girard & Co. but not L. Girod. Sorry, I know that's not especially helpful.
