Cygnet Horn Question

I like to leave a Music Master horn suspended on its crane. Over time, does this damage the horn? :shock: Appreciate any thoughts or opinions. Thanks!

I hope not, I have a couple of those been on cranes for over 15 years continuously except when I move the phono.
