Does it look original? Also I cant get the mandrel to spin. Looks to be jammed
I know the one screw is not original, anyone have one to sell?
It also have a type N reproducer

Re: Need help with a Edison standard e combination type
Looks like a real nice machine-- and the "N" reproducer is correct for the "E".
Re: the mandrel-- I assume you mean that the mandrel is either hard to turn or completely locked up-- Just to the left of the mandrel is a casting about an inch wide that the mandrel shaft passes through- Inside that casting is a pot-metal bearing that swells up and freezes that shaft-- If it turns at all, it is fairly easy to deal with-- a little penetrating oil should allow you to remove the mandrel by twisting it as you pull on it--- Then the inside of the bearing can be incrementally reamed until it allows for free spinning of the mandrel-
But if it is totally frozen, then removing the mandrel becomes more difficult-- It needs to be pressed out and likely the swollen bearing needs to be replaced--- New bearings made of brass are available.
Hope this helps--

Does your mandrel turn at all, or is it locked up solid?

You're missing this gear cover... https://www.ebay.com/itm/256500382187?i ... R8CCpMbzYw
Not essential to play records however.

I have not tried to put oil in it yet, but it might be solid.
This is inside the lid
