FOUND: Edison Standard B Gate

Well I decided I’m gonna restore my second Edison standard B for recording use after nearly a year of owning it. And I got a problem. I am missing the latch part of the gate.

I believe you can make one from a feeler gauge. Can you get the screw out?

You'll still need the spring clip & knob but buying one of these is far easier than picking out the broken off and rusted remains of the old knob.

I got it and it’s installed! Thank you! after the disappointment of not being able to save a super 8 camera with white vinegar this was a nice brightener to my day!
