SOLD : VERY RARE UNION DD ATTACHMENT FOR VICTOR - $350.00

Folks,

Today we have an attachment that rarely, if ever, comes available or is found. This is a Union attachment, to allow a Victor machine to play Diamond Disc records.

The Union Specialty and Plating Company made DD attachment to allow a Diamond Disc to play a regular disc record. They then took their reproducer and made it work for a Victor. Look how they ingeniously used the thumb screw of the needle bar to insert a Diamond Needle attachment. The additional, permanent tube with the original set screw places the reproducer at the correct angle for playing a Diamond Disc. Amazing.

And don't think this is a made up piece, there is one other known, exactly like this one, but in gold finish.

This one has great nickel plating, has a new gasket with the original mica. The diamond is good and it plays really loud!!

I've shown it installed on a Victor in a couple pictures, only the attachment is available.
