Edison Home Phonograph:

Trying to get one of my Edison Home phonographs to work. It has tension in the spring but still doesn't work. I noticed that this gear moves back and forth. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you for all the help in advance.

Thanks Rich I looked and stared at the pictures but I don't know the difference between the second and third gear. Phonographs.org has a better description but they are out. That's why I'm asking for help here so I purchase the correct one.
