#7x3/4" machine screw wanted

Post by egggplant »

Hi:

Does anybody have a spare #7 by at least ¾" machine screw? I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Graham

Round head? Flat head? Oval head?

"Machine screws" are not dimensioned #7 x ¾". Do you mean wood screw?

I don't know the precise length. I just know that it needs I be at least ¾" from the top of the screw to the other end.

Thanks

There are slotted, brass, flathead, wood screws available from McMaster Carr, catalog number 92406A173.

As I mentioned earlier, "machine screws" and wood screws are two different things. You gave the specs. for a wood screw.

Hi Graham,

In order to help we will need a more complete description of the fastener that you need. The specifications for fasteners are very specific.

Below is a link to a tutorial. Study this and follow all the embedded links. Then, post the full requirements for your screw.
