Nickel-plated Triumph

Post by cheryla »

I bought a nickel-plated Triumph from Raphael Cole, Musical Treasures of Miami. What a beauty! It came yesterday, beautifully packed, and plays perfectly.
Does anyone else have nickel plated machines?
We love doing business with people we absolutely trust, and Rafael is so easy to deal with.

Thanks for the kind words, it's always great to do business with you! Shipping a Triumph is a bit of a challenge, and knowing that it arrived safely is a relief as well.

Outstanding! Thanks for the photos. When buying a nickel plated Edison one should always look for the second tag with Edison's signature. I have a Model A Home with nickel plated deck. It did not have the second tag and there were no holes where one might have been applied. The machine has light wear and I believe the nickeling was done when the machine was current. I've always assumed it was nickeled by a second party soon after being purchased by the original owner. Question... When a customer ordered a machine with a special finish from the Edison factory, was the Edison signature tag always included?

Thanks, Jerry B.,
