On my Triumph D2 the upper bedplate corner ornaments are around ¾ the size of the lower bedplate ornaments. The overall shape is the same. But still -- the centre "pineapple" is quite an oval on the smaller ones while it looks like it was formed of two brackets on the lower. I think this indicates a different artist.
Decal packages currently for sale do not contain the smaller ornaments for the upper bedplate. But maybe I have this wrong? Maybe there are Triumphs out there on which both bedplates have the same size corner ornaments.
I would love to know. I would love to see pics. That will depend on the motivation of Triumph owning readers!
Cheers, all, Mike Barnes

Re: Triumph bedplate corner ornaments
I actually think if we looked at enough corner ornaments we could gain a sense of how many employees Edison had doing this job. This is research, fellow collectors!
