What color are VV-XIV casters?

The Victrola the Fourteenth I got as a project was missing a wheel and the caster itself was bent. I found another post about just replacing them with modern versions so I felt better about it (as do my floors).

What I got was brass and plastic. Two questions: 1) what color should the brass parts be, and 2) what color should the metal ring around the leg be? I know this is a compromise between original and modern, but I want it to look as authentic as possible.

The original color is steel, and the one I have in my collection is colored Rust. The wheels are iron and the large roller bearing around the outside edge of the original caster isn't present on the new one.
