I don't know if this has been a topic before but it seems as though my whole week has been FULL of dealing with repairs enacted by the ghosts of Christmas past and it hasn't been pretty. Aside from the Vic III "repairs" that I've been dealing with, I picked up a VV-X that had a cabinet thoroughly chewed by a dog. I knew I was picking it up for parts (mainly the reproducer) and when I tore it apart, this is what I found: huge gap in the gasket and no beeswax on the needle arm screw. What sorts of "repairs" have you found?
