"Harry Lauder makes records for the Victor Company," and I'm pretty confident that's the best-known part of his discography. Maybe less familiar for some, he was an Edison artist before going to Victor (I presume before, anyhow; haven't checked). During a certain period, the Edison Phonograph Monthly is full of references to him, his recordings, and their value to the company's dealers. His Edisons, as far as I know, were all four-minute cylinders; Edison's discs for that market seem to have been made by an immitator named Glen Ellison. Lauder also recorded for Pathé.
