New Machine Accquired!!

Post by PeanutTheRabbit »

Got me a rear mount Victor E from Joe Hough! I am very excited to add it to my collection. From what I gather it’s everything I wish my Victor I was lol.

Nice looking machine!
The metal dealer tag is also nice.

Very Nice machine! The dealer tag is always a big plus….Thanks Joe for Helping out and glad that you got it…

If you ever desire to straighten the horn, John Duffey is your guy…I sent him a horn once with some others just hoping he could get it better, and he made it like new….Everyone has their opinion, so there’s no wrong answer as to polish/straighten or not

Congrats!

A small update, I found F. Imfield’s obituary, and an advertisement for his shop from a Hamilton city directory dated 1916. Sadly passed at a young age from the Flu in 1920

Those E rear mounts are a superb machine with a small footprint. I got one from Jerry B in exchange for some Porsche work probably 22 years or so ago now and let a good friend talk me out of it about 10 years ago. I still have the friend but regret the deal. It was a GREAT player.

I agree with George - my E is the best player I own - that 2 spring motor is a very good and quiet mechanism
