Misc. Phonograph cabinet parts

Post by EarlH »

I'll see if I can do this in a way that makes sense so I don't have to make a bunch of separate posts. And if you have any questions, or need more pictures do feel free to ask.

The first one is a Columbia disk cabinet that I don't know the model of. Someone cut it up and made a jewelry box or something out of it. The base molding is fine and it does have the 4 corner columns. $35 and shipping for that if you can use it.

The second thing is a grille from and Edison and I don't remember the model off hand. It's oak and I'm sure you you need one, you'll know if it's the right style. It's 15 ⅝" wide and 11 ⅞" tall. $15 and postage for this one.

This Columbia cylinder cabinet I have no idea about. I've never owned a Columbia Cylinder machine and this is as close to owning one that I've encountered. The bottom is 12 ¾" by 8 ½". The plywood on the bottom looks to have been wet or damp at some point and is rippled. The decals aren't in too bad of shape. $30 and postage

And then there are some parts from a Victrola XVII. The doors are really not in too good of shape, but they might be useful depending on how bad your machine is. The two fish belly moldings from the bottom of the cabinet are weathered, but should clean up and refinish fine. The lady I bought this from had done a really nasty repair on one of the front legs as it was broken in half about halfway up the front of the cabinet. I asked her what happened and she said "you know how teenagers are...." Oh well. $25 and shipping one this stuff and if you don't want all of it I'm fine with that
