Could anyone who pasted those instructions on the bottoms of these machines, 125 years ago, have ever imagined not only the importance of these papers, but the technology now employed to restore and recreate them?

I appreciate the thought. I got out of the paper business about 5 years ago. I restored this image so anyone who wanted to have it can download and print it.

One final tip: print this on a color laser printer for more lasting results and coat the final print with a light coat of amber shellac for permanence and patina...
