Question about VV-X victrola’s

Post by PeanutTheRabbit »

So, I want to pick up an oak VV-X. I have an XI, how much smaller are they? I have a spider leg X already, so I’m assuming it’s just the same overall dimensions just with the doors yeah? thanks.

I doubt that the overall dimensions are quite the same, but the X was the smallest upright Victrola of its time.

The "spider leg" version's dimensions were 41 15/16" high, by 18 ¼" wide, by 22" deep.

There were a number of X models using a conventional Victrola Cabinet -- E, F, G, H, J, K, X-A type M and X-A type B.***
The E and F models were the same size as the spider leg version, while the H & J's dimensions were 41 15/16" high, by 18 ⅝" wide, by 22 ⅜" deep.
The K model's dimensions were 42" high, by 18 ¾" wide, by 22 ½" deep.
Both Victrola X-A models were 41 15/16" high, by 18 ½" wide, by 22 ¼" deep.
