Edison B-80 Record Cabinet $200 Sold
This is for pick up at the upcoming Stanton auction or at my house. This is a pretty hard cabinet to find. It has some light scratches on the top that would be covered with the phonograph anyway.

Re: Edison B-80 Record Cabinet $200
Hi Dave,
For a long time I tried to find a B-80 cabinet -in Oak and one day I found myself looking at one on Facebook 2 miles away from me. Now I have never seen one of these in the flesh, much less the inside of one. It was in really good shape, had an inner shelf, no key and the key escutcheon was gone. It was being sold by a guy who just likes antique furniture.
With your post I now know I have the right cabinet! OK so are the record divider's like what was used on Edison DD machines-dowels or wood slats?
If you have not sold the cabinet could you take a shot of your key and either PM me or post it. None of my Edison keys fit and the lock is sandwiched between the wood layers of the door and it would be a job to get it out.
Thanks for the help
Abe
