Sonora Reproducer

I was wondering if anyone knew how to take apart a Sonora reproducer. Im not sure exactly which one it is but it comes from a 1918 Troubadour. I also do not know what size mica to replace the original with. Any help is appreciated

What I did on mine, mine is a Sonora superfine number 4
I just carefully picked the first gasket out with a little pick, becarefull not to damage the mica, if it's the one that says Sonora on it, if it's clear then replace it, but you won't find a new one with that logo on it.
Afte you get the first gasket out, remove the screw molding the needle bar, set that aside in a dish because it's small. Pull the mica out, and then remove the back gasket, and then replace the back gasket with new, put mica back needle bar screw and then tuck the front gasket in carefuly around, your done..
Takes about 20 mins.
I use white gasket material that you rebuild victor exhibitions with.

Also, depending on the style of Sonora mounting flange that you have, you can refresh the rubber mounting O-rings with Victor Exhibition white gasket material. This really opens up the Sonora soundboxes. If memory serves me, there are 3 flat head screws on the back which hold the backing plate on, which compresses the gasket material.
