Beautiful machine! This is actually an Orthophonic 8-35 Victrola from 1928 not 1923, and it's not a Credenza(though it was intended as a updated replacement for it). One of our fellow listmembers in my area had one for sale last fall-I saw it & heard it, wished I could've taken home a "new puppy" that day. The plus here is that, even with a broken spring, it has the original multicolored albums intact. This is so worth an investigation! I hope someone gets this that knows & appreciates what's being sold here.

The Victrola appears to have its original albums, which should make it very appealing to someone, since the albums are a feature of the machine's appearance. At the price the Pathé' is going for, well, I'd be all over it if it was anywhere near me.
