Just noticed that the painting in this Simpsons episode is Edison listening to his phonograph.

Yes, the painting on the wall does indeed show the phonograph!

Did you hear the conversation between Homer & Bart in that episode? Some fairly accurate Edison history was covered, as I recall. (Including Tom Jr. and his turkey farm!)

It has been a while since I seen it but I have it on a dvd so I might watch it later today.

I think this episode was about the props on the back legs of Edison's chair.
