Good morning I’m rebuilding a reproducer for a Vanophone I have everything I need except the small screws that hold the face plate to the back. I tried to measure one from another Vanophone reproducer with a thread gauge , with my old eyes I think it was 44 threads , the screw size maybe #1or2. Does anyone know what size theses screws are? Does anyone know of a source for these? I looked around without much luck not knowing the actual size. Thanks
Dan

Re: Vanophone reproducer question
What is the diameter of the screw thread?
If the pitch really is 44, then you may have a 5-44 thread, which would measure .125" diameter.

The threads are 1/16” dia. The threaded area is ¼” long . As far as the pitch it looks like 44 with gauge. See pictures

Re: Vanophone reproducer question
Well... I'm going to suggest that maybe the thread diameter is .073". That would be a 1-44 thread. I say .073" because I don't believe your caliper, (being fractional), is going to be all that accurate. That said, a 1-44 thread would be very unusual, (but not impossible), as it would be a really course pitch for a thread that small. FWIW, if the thread is truly .060" diameter, it would be a 0-44 thread and I'm not thinking that's even possible.
