BBC Sounds: His Master's Voices

Post by Lah Ca »

I don't know if this small audio series has been brought to the attention of the forum before or not, but .... it is quite fun (so far). One of my wife's colleagues, a lecturer at UBC, brought it to my attention.

BBC Sounds: His Master's Voices

Cerys Matthews and Tris Penna examine the legacy and stories behind some of the first gramophone records recorded in Britain from 1898-1902

Five 15-minute-long episodes
