The Discographer : A Reference Periodical.

Post by epigramophone »

Among a recently purchased lot of record related publications were six copies of this magazine, from Vol.1, No.3 to Vol.2 No.4.
Probably dating from the 1960's or 1970's, it appears to have been the spare time venture of a small group of enthusiasts.
I can find no connection with the more recent and similarly titled "The Discographer Magazine".
Any background information would be gratefully received.

Funny stuff of yesteryear, with the main title hand-made with transfer characters. 8-)

Were the featured articles interesting at all?

I have not yet had time to read the magazines, but I can see that the layout of the articles is equally amateurish.
If I find anything of particular interest I will post it here.
