Re: Richard Jose
My old friend Joe Pengelly (1924-2020) was an authority on Richard Jose. In 1988 he produced an audio cassette nominating him as "Cornwall's Greatest Singer", which sold well to Cornish emigres in the USA, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
Brian Rust's "The Complete Entertainment Discography (1973)" lists 73 recordings for Victor made between 27th October 1903 and 16th September 1909, but the last recording issued dates from 23rd February 1906.
