Probably because of a few hopeful bidders and no Poodling around! I find the damaged wood rather off-putting.

It is really nice to have been conspicuous by my absence - and yes, I was one of the hopeful bidders !

Phew ! Really glad that you thought the price was okay.

You see, there was a little space between my Teak HMV 102 and HMV 118 and I just couldn't stop thinking how nicely this one would fit in there.

As I think you know a top condition gramophone would last about a week in my gaff, which is why I am happy to buy machines which work but have acquired laughter lines which I like ! They are usually cheaper too !

Oh, are you psychic by the way because I am sure that you knew I had purchased this even before the auction had ended ................. :o
