I'd have to say that is one of the most complete & nicest business phonos I've seen.
The carton of blanks is pretty cool too.

What a fabulous find, and all of those extras including the horn and the recording blanks really enhanced the sale. There can't be very many of these early business machines, especially in this sort of condition, and so complete, left in the U.S.A today.fmblizz wrote:Interesting Edison on Ebay...

Re: Interesting Edison
That was my Edison. It took an exhausting effort to get it to that level of completion. Thanks to George Vollema, who managed to repair the motor and supply with me with some near impossible to find parts, I got it operational. The horn and crane are from Jean Paul Agnard, so naturally are of the best quality. It was a fun machine to own briefly, but I need to move phonographs on after having them for a while. I am a student and this is one way I can make some extra money. Plus I was able to bring this machine back from oblivion which always feels good. I found it in a antique shop, languishing, in the south. It had been hidden under a table for decades apparently.

Great job cleaning up the phonograph and bringing it back to life! Keep up the good work.

Re: Interesting Edison
Yes, but what sort of time machine did you use to get that box of blanks?

Eyes of a hawk. You have to look at everything for sale anywhere. I had some tips too.
