Genoa phonograph sound box (reproducer)
I have a Genola toy phonograph with a sound box bad in more ways than one. I believe I've seen other soundboxes with a similar configuration. I doubt that I can find a good Genola soundbox replacement. Can I substitute something else perhaps more common than the original part? Here are some pictures:

You might try George Vollema (victroladoctor.com) in Michigan. That reproducer is specific to Genola toys and is pot metal. The machine is not a good player anyway, so it may end up as a display piece. The hole could be repaired with JB Weld epoxy putty, but not much can be done to fix cracking pot metal...
"The phonograph is not of any commercial value."

There are still a few good ones out there. It's just going to take some patience.
