SOLD - Rare Edison Beethoven Edisonic Diamond Disc phonograph with its "New Standard" Reproducer (later changed to the "Edisonic" reproducer in 1929), manufactured in late 1928 or 1929, serial #2245. Excellent condition. This machine was recently found on the east side of Detroit with a large cache of dealer stock Diamond Disc records that have the red stars stamped on the paper labels - i.e. these red star stamped records could not be returned to Edison as Edison expected them to be poor sellers. I suspect that this Edisonic Beethoven is also NOS as it's almost perfect top to bottom.
H 44", width 35-11/16", depth 21-¾", double spring and $225 in the day. Gorgeous contrasting door panels with record storage within the left top and left door.
I took the mechanism, horn and grill out to properly move it and will post more pictures last next week when I put it back together.
If you have interest, contact me via email or phone.....no PM please. First to communicate "sold" get's it.
Thank you, Ken
